Terms and conditions

CoFindMe operates cofindme.com, a place for founders to list a startup and meet people whose skills match. Questions about these terms go to mail.cofindme@gmail.com.

You must be 18 or older and able to form a contract under Indian law. You are responsible for the accuracy of the email, name, and skills on your account.

CoFindMe lets you:

• Publish a startup listing with a pitch, skills you need, links, and images.
• Save skills so matching startups and founders can see you.
• Comment, share contact details, and send direct messages at no charge.
• Book sponsored days on leaderboard spots #1, #2 and #3.

We can refuse or remove a listing, message, or account that breaks these terms, misleads other people, or puts the service at risk.

You keep ownership of what you post. You give CoFindMe a non-exclusive licence to host, display, and share that content on the service for as long as it stays on your account. You confirm you have the right to post it, including logos and photos.

Do not post anything unlawful, anything that infringes someone else’s rights, or anything that harasses another person. Do not present a startup you do not represent.

Amounts are in Indian rupees and are shown before you pay.

A sponsored booking can run for 1 to 14 days. The amount due is the daily rate multiplied by the number of days, and the screen shows that total before you confirm. Comments, contact sharing and direct messages are free.

Spots #1, #2 and #3 are paid placements. A booking that is already live keeps those days. Another founder cannot take a day that has already started.

If a later booking outbids a block that has not started, the new price is 1.5× the current daily rate. The founder who was outbid receives 50% of that booking back as ad credit on CoFindMe. Ad credit can be used on a later sponsored booking. It is not cash, and it is not transferred to another person.

One startup holds one sponsored spot at a time. The price and the days are confirmed on the screen before payment.

Paid checkout is processed by Razorpay. CoFindMe does not store card numbers, CVV, or UPI PINs. A charge happens only after you confirm a listing fee or a sponsored booking. You authorise Razorpay and your bank or UPI app to take that amount.

The listing fee is not refunded. A sponsored booking is not returned to your card or bank. If a booking that has not started is outbid, 50% of the amount paid comes back as ad credit. Taxes, if they apply to a charge, are included in the way the law requires at the time of payment.

• Do not scrape the site, probe it, or attempt to access another person’s account.
• Do not send spam, or use messages to phish, threaten, or advertise unrelated products.
• Do not upload malware or anything that is not a genuine startup listing.
• Do not create more than one account to manipulate rankings or matches.

Leaderboard points come from other people’s engagement with a listing. A message to that startup’s founder is 5 points. A comment is 2 points. The same person counts once, and the founder’s own activity does not count. Sponsored spots keep the rank they booked. Points are a guide for visitors. They are not a promise of investment, revenue, or a successful match.

Profiles, pitches, and messages are written by users. CoFindMe does not check that a startup will succeed, that a person has the skill they claim, or that a match is the right one. Any agreement between founders happens between them.

The service is provided as available. We work to keep it online, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. To the extent Indian law allows, CoFindMe is not liable for lost profits, lost matches, or decisions you make from another user’s content. Nothing in these terms limits liability that the law says cannot be limited.

You can ask us to close your account by email. We can suspend an account that breaks these terms. Closing an account does not refund a listing fee or a sponsored booking.

We can update these terms. The date at the top of this page will change when we do. If you keep using CoFindMe after that, the new terms apply. The terms that applied on the day you paid still govern that payment.

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts in India have jurisdiction, subject to any rights you have as a consumer that cannot be waived.
